Three things happen as you turn this glass.

First there's the seal — a paw print ringed with EVERYTHING SCHNAUZY · BRINNON, WA, etched like a maker's mark. Turn it a quarter and there's a line across the glass at pour height, with a schnauzer peeking over it, waiting to see whether you're done. Another quarter and you find out what the word means:

The pour line isn't decoration. It sits where a proper two-finger pour lands in a glass this wide, so you can stop looking at the bottle and just fill to the dog.

The glass

Just under twelve ounces, so there's room for a large cube and a real pour without going to the rim. Nearly straight-sided, with a heavy base that keeps it planted when you set it down with intent. The walls are thick enough that the glass feels like an object rather than a container.

Everything is laser-etched — cut into the surface, not printed on it. It comes up as soft frosted white against clear glass and catches the light as the glass turns in your hand. Nothing to peel, scratch off, or fade out after a year in the cabinet.

Care
